As part of this commitment, FAREVA has officially pledged to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to set science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets aligned with the ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C, under the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign.
This commitment marks a new milestone in our climate transition roadmap and demonstrates our determination to align our actions with an internationally recognised framework.
A Science-Based Approach
By joining this initiative, FAREVA is committing to developing near-term emissions reduction targets covering all its activities.
These targets will be developed over the coming months before being submitted to the SBTi for independent validation, in accordance with the initiative’s requirements.

The Next Steps
Our commitment to the SBTi is the first stage of a structured process.
Over the coming months, FAREVA will develop its transition and improvement plan and finalise its near-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets before submitting them to the Science Based Targets initiative for independent validation.
